The photos above are the face products that I am taking to the beach. I am taking a foundation and a highlight too. I may not take the two Tarte Blushes. I will take all of TheBalm product since I have been loving them so much.

SkinCare Tip Monday-Spirulina

 Spirulina is a form of algae. It is great for your skin and allergies. It is even great for vegetarians because it contains lots of protein. I buy a jar of it at Whole Foods for around 10-15 dollars. You can also get it in pill form. I put mine (the power form) into my Green Smoothies! I love knowing that this dark green power is good for me. I do have other things I put in my Green Smoothies from time to time.(I will share them in another post.) Spirulina will give you glowing skin. It is simple,easy and healthy.

Quick Tip Friday

If you are wanting your foundation to last, use a face primer. A face primer will prep, prime and smooth out your face. But that is not my Quick Tip...

My Quick Tip is to use your face foundation brush to buff the primer into the skin. If you don't have a foundation brush, a great and cheaper one is E.L.F Power Brush ( the studio line, which is the all black brushes). I use it all the time. It is only 3 dollars and you can find it at Target or online. 

When you use the brush to buff in the primer, it helps to really smooth out the primer on your face. Also, the primer will prime the brush for the foundation so the foundation does not get lost into the brush. You are not wasting any foundation, which is always a bonus! It help to give you that airbrush look and finish, we all want and love.

Use green concealer under foundation and skin tone concealer on top on your breakouts.

Waves made with a curling wand then lightly combed 

out so they are soft and loose or a top knot.

DIY FACE MASK FOR ACNE

Strawberry Mask- for Acne prone skin

• 1/4 cup of Strawberries, Fresh
• 1/4 cup of Sour Cream or Plain Yogurt ( I use Plain Greek Yogurt)
• Mash/Mix for 10-15 mins

As I have said before, I love DIY face masks. They are easy, simple, and great for your skin. This DIY face mask is for Acne prone skin but you can use it if you don't have acne. It is great for oily skin and a random break out pimple day!

This mask is so simple and quick! It is great for the summer because Strawberries are cheaper in the summer. Make sure you clean your skin with warm water first before applying the mask to open your pores. When you take the mask off you want to again use warm water then splash with cold water to close your pores. Your skin will feel so very soft and fresh!

Summer Scent #3

Aquolina Pink Sugar

Pink Sugar is my go to scent when I don't know what to wear. It is a very sweet and youthful scent but it works wonders for me. I get so many complaints when I wear this perfume. The perfume smells of a blend of vanilla and caramel. It is not overpowering yet leaves a nice sweet scent. 

I love this scent, this is my third bottle. I wear it day and night, but mainly at night. Many say this scent is just for teens but I think anyone can wear this scent.

I think Pink Sugar is a great inexpensive perfume that is perfect for summer. Also Pink Sugar has hair perfume spray, roller balls, lotion,and body wash, so you can always sweet Pink Sugar!

Summer Scent #2

Bobbi Brown -Beach

Bobbi Brown "Beach" is the perfect summer scent! I have yet to find a better one. It is a blend of jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin. It is light,airy and fresh.This is my second bottle and as you can see I am going to need a new one at the end of this summer. I wear it day and night.But it is great for night in the summer beacause it is not fruity or sweet so it does not cause the bugs to bite you at night when outside. This perfume is summer in a bottle. I will always have this "Beach" perfume in the collection!I love it that much!

DIY Lemon Honey Face Mask

(I just love the Honey Bear...too cute!)

DIY Face Mask are always nice because most of the time you have the things you need already at your house. I have a few that I love to do. I am going to share with you my go to mask for glowing skin. So if you have dull skin or need a pick me up, try this DIY Face Mask:

Lemon Honey Face Mask. ( Brightening Mask)

• 1/2 fresh lemon juice
• 2 tsp of honey 
• Mix together and leave on for 20-30 mins. 

It is so simple. I always have fresh lemons and honey so there is not reason to go to the store. It is a little messy so I will put it on and hop in to the bath tub (or Tub as I call it). If you don't like baths you can simple put a towel down just in case. It does not dry like a clay mask so just watch the clock so you know when it is time to take it off your face.

Make sure your face is clean and dry. Make sure you used warm water so your pores are opened. It does tingle a little bit but it is just the lemon juice! You can use a washcloth to take it off (adds extra exfoliation) or just water, first use warm water (never hot) then splash your face with cold water to close up your pores.

This DIY Face Mask is simple, fast, and it gives you beautiful glowing skin.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup is one of my favorite Drugstore foundations. I have both high end and drugstore foundations but it is nice to have a few cheaper foundations. I have about 3-4 drugstore foundation that I like.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup looks like this:

It is a runny foundation but it does not get cake up on your face. It gives your skin a nice glow. The only downside is that because it is a runny foundation it comes out too quickly. But I just put my finger over the hole and tip the bottle a little and then put it where I need it on my face. You can use your hands, a flat top brush or a beauty sponge. The foundation can be built up so if you need more coverage, you can add as much as you need. It is medium coverage so you don't need a whole lot. This foundation can be compared to Nars Sheer Glow Foundation.

Foundation should even your skin tone out, it should not hide all of your flaws, that is what a good concealer is for. I have combination skin and it works for me when my skin is both oily and dry. It does not accent the dry patches and does not make the skin too oily.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup is a great foundation and it will not break the bank because you can get it for 10-12$.

My Glam Bag

MyGlam Bag like BirchBox and Eco-Emi ( see my posts below) is a monthly prescription service that sends samples to your door each month. It is 10$ a month and they send you 4-5 samples and a different bag each month. Unlike BirchBox they are not all deluxe high end samples. They can be drugstore or high end. I was very unhappy with my boxes that I got. I did it for three months and yes there was things from Urban Decay and TheBalm but the other samples were not good. They did send a lot of gift cards but you also had to spend a certain amount of money. I was not not happy with the "bags". I thought they would be a lot better because the bags were put together by Youtube Beauty Gurus. Maybe they will get better in time. But BirchBox and Eco-Emi were great in the first months. I may try them again but as of right now I CANCELED MY GLAM BAG!!

BirchBox ( Like Eco-Emi from my last post) is a monthly prescription service that sends deluxe beauty samples to your door each month. BirchBox sends high end deluxe samples. They send some brands that you can find at Sephora and Ulta or they may send brands that you have never heard of. BirchBox is 10$ a month and they send 4-5 samples. I have even gotten FULL size products in my box.
