Kat Van D Ladybird True Romance Palette

Fall is here...Kinda I live in the South and it is still pretty hot here. So it doesn't feel like Fall all day long. Yet, I am itching to pull out my dark lip colors and fall eye palettes. So when I saw the Ladybird Palette on Sephora.com, I had to grab it. It is an all matte palette and a brown eye liner.

I  have been impressed by Kat Von D. I am not a big fan of hers, I never watched her show or really knew that much about her. But she is kicking butt in the makeup world. I have her foundation and Love it. Every time I read a review about her makeup line, they are always glowing! I am so glad I gave her line a chance.

Sorry for the fingerprints, it is just so hard to wait! I had to try it out when I first got it! Look at those matte fall colors! WONDERFUL. It is such a nice palette. I really really like the burnt orange. I would never go for that color but I am trying to force myself to wear different colors on my eye! I tested some of the colors out on my eyes and the orange was one of my favs.

The colors are smooth, pigment and last on your eyes. I have not tried the eye liner yet, but I have heard great things about it. I have been digging mattes lately. I almost got the Stila In The Know Matte Palette but I am glad I went with this one for the Fall.
This is a great palette to have in your collection. I love the eye shadows. I am already planning what other things I want from the Kat Von D makeup line.

The Beauty Blender

The Beauty Blender is a great little tool. This is a weird looking beauty sponge but it works wonders. You get it wet and it expands. You can apply your foundation with this little hot pink tool. Also, you can apply power, concealer, blush, highlighter and really any face makeup product. I love it. There are cheaper dupes, like Sonia Kashuk for Target, Ulta has one and I think there is even one at Walgreens. But none have the same texture and really works like the beauty blender. It is get to have in your makeup bag. I have three; one stays in my makeup bag, one is for when I am at home and the other one is a new fresh one. I really like to apply cream highlighter, like High Beam for Benefit, with this little tool. This product is is must-have. I would recommend this tool to anyone. If you are just starting out with make up, have a lot of make up tools or are just low key with makeup. It is just that great.

You can get it HERE and Sephora.

Stay Sweet,
Katie

BirchBox

BirchBox ( Like Eco-Emi from my last post) is a monthly prescription service that sends deluxe beauty samples to your door each month. BirchBox sends high end deluxe samples. They send some brands that you can find at Sephora and Ulta or they may send brands that you have never heard of. BirchBox is 10$ a month and they send 4-5 samples. I have even gotten FULL size products in my box.
* I will start doing a post on what I get in my BirchBox each month.*

What makes BirchBox different is that you can give feedback on the products you get each month and they will give you 10 points for each feedback. 100 points equals 10 dollars and you can buy the products  off the BirchBox website. Its pretty cool.

I have been a little disappointed in BirchBox of few months but they have made up for it. I enjoy getting my BirchBox each month, it like a little treat for yourself.

You can get your own BirchBox HERE!

AND they now have a BirchBox for MEN! It is 20$ a month and it would but a great little gift for your boyfriend, dad, brother, or guy friends.

Stay Sweet,
Katie
