My Easy Summer Foundation Routine.

Yes, I do know summer is going to be over soon, so why am I just now showing y'all my summer foundation routine. Because this is what I actually have used 85% of the time. This is not my summer nighttime going out foundation look. This is my everyday less is more because it is the South and it is Hot look. I am not going to do a full review of each product. If you want one, please let me know in the comments.

I first use L'oreal Magic Bb cream in Light. I like this American Bb cream especially in the warmer months. It is light, gives me the light coverage that I want in the summer.  Now I do grab other tinted moistures and Bb creams but I tend to grab this one most of the time. Next I use L'oreal Magic Lumi Concealer in light. I guess I like to use a lot of product that say magic on them so hopeful my face will look magical not scary! But really, I like these highlighting drugstore concealer pens. They help brighten and concealer my under eyes.  Now I do use spot concealer on days I need to hide my blemish or red areas but not everyday! 

Finally, I use my Laura Geller balance n brighten foundation in fair and Laura Geller blush n brighten in honey dipped. I like using this product to give my skin a little more coverage without being to heavy on my face. It is extra coverage that won't melt off your face. I like this bronzer in the summer days because it has a little bit of shimmer to give my face a glow with out being too much. The Bronzer is nice to warm up your face and add that extra dimension. I really like the Laura Geller makeup line. I want to try more of this line. Ok that is normally my everyday look. A Easy and quick summer glow! What is your easy and quick summer look?

Quick Tip Friday

If you are wanting your foundation to last, use a face primer. A face primer will prep, prime and smooth out your face. But that is not my Quick Tip...

My Quick Tip is to use your face foundation brush to buff the primer into the skin. If you don't have a foundation brush, a great and cheaper one is E.L.F Power Brush ( the studio line, which is the all black brushes). I use it all the time. It is only 3 dollars and you can find it at Target or online. 

When you use the brush to buff in the primer, it helps to really smooth out the primer on your face. Also, the primer will prime the brush for the foundation so the foundation does not get lost into the brush. You are not wasting any foundation, which is always a bonus! It help to give you that airbrush look and finish, we all want and love.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup is one of my favorite Drugstore foundations. I have both high end and drugstore foundations but it is nice to have a few cheaper foundations. I have about 3-4 drugstore foundation that I like.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup looks like this:

It is a runny foundation but it does not get cake up on your face. It gives your skin a nice glow. The only downside is that because it is a runny foundation it comes out too quickly. But I just put my finger over the hole and tip the bottle a little and then put it where I need it on my face. You can use your hands, a flat top brush or a beauty sponge. The foundation can be built up so if you need more coverage, you can add as much as you need. It is medium coverage so you don't need a whole lot. This foundation can be compared to Nars Sheer Glow Foundation.

Foundation should even your skin tone out, it should not hide all of your flaws, that is what a good concealer is for. I have combination skin and it works for me when my skin is both oily and dry. It does not accent the dry patches and does not make the skin too oily.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup is a great foundation and it will not break the bank because you can get it for 10-12$.
