SkinCare Tip Monday- Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil is an all natural topical treatment that can be used to treat acne, among other things. It does not only kill the bacteria that causes acne but it also reduces redness. It is wonderful. The moment you notice acne you use tea tree oil. Make sure you use 100% undiluted tea tree oil. You can get it at most health food stores.

I just take a q-tip and put in one the spot. A few days later the spot is gone. Now it may not work for everyone but it works for me.

You can also make your own tea tree toner (which I will show you how to do later). If you have dandruff, use two parts tea tree oil and 5 parts water, put it in a spray bottle and spray it on your head. You can do the same thing for fleas/ticks. Just put the mixture in the bottle, and spray in on your shoes, socks and the bottom of your pants. Fleas dislike the smell of tea tree oil.

I love tea tree oil. It works so good. I have never had a spot treatment work this good. I even keep a small bottle at my boyfriend in case I have a random ugly spot appear.
So go to your local whole foods and pick some up. If it is a little to strong for you, just wet the q-tip first and then dip it into the tea tree oil.

  1. I am planning to buy a new bottle of tea tree oil. I used it as a teenager and it helped with breakouts x
